👏 👏🏽👏🏿 Congratulations to Alan Luo for being named a Distinguished University Professor, the highest faculty honor, by The Ohio State University.

Luo has promoted integrated learning in materials processing through classroom, laboratory and simulation-based instruction. His work has enhanced light-metal manufacturing across the automotive sector and strengthened the link between materials research and industrial practice.

His collaboration with industry renders real-life projects that support career readiness and expands research pathways for Buckeye engineers. Congratulations, Professor Alan Luo.
