With Jekalyn Carr – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

✋Some people don’t want to be saved - and trying to fix them might actually be keeping you unwell.

Many migraine sufferers share a common trait: the need to help, rescue, or fix others. It comes from being highly empathetic and sensitive to tension.

As kids, we often learned that keeping the peace or meeting others’ needs kept us “safe.” That’s how we became caretakers - emotionally attuned to everyone but ourselves 💔.

But for many of us, fixing also became a way to feel needed. That feeling gave us a sense of worth and purpose - but it also kept us trapped in cycles of overgiving and exhaustion.

Because every time you step in to soothe, fix, or manage someone else’s emotions, your nervous system spikes⚡️.

Your body goes into hypervigilance - scanning for potential conflict, rejection, or disappointment.

Over time, this constant emotional over-functioning drains your energy, dysregulates your stress hormones, and keeps your pain circuits switched on.

Trying to heal everyone else means abandoning yourself - and your body keeps the score. 🧠

When you stop trying to fix others, you free up huge amounts of energy that your body can finally use for healing 🌿.

Your cortisol drops, your nervous system relaxes, and your migraines start to ease because you’re no longer living in constant emotional overdrive.

You don’t need to be needed - you need to be well. 💛

They said 9-1-1 what’s the emergency,” Dorian, 8-year-old said, "my grandma was sleeping and blood was coming out of her mouth.”

When panic could have taken over, one local boy’s bravery made all the difference.

Eight-year-old Dorian McCollum was home alone with his grandmother when he noticed something was very wrong.

They said 9-1-1 what’s the emergency,” Dorian recalled. “I said my grandma was sleeping and blood was coming out of her mouth.”

Despite being scared, Dorian didn’t freeze—he acted. Unable to make calls on his iPad, he quickly grabbed his grandmother’s phone and dialed 911. Show him some love. ❤️⭐
