3324 The Metrobots

The Metrobots participated in COSI’s science festival this past weekend!

Last night, a few of our members represented the Metrobots at the accelerate ED Community Convening. We were able to speak to professionals from all over the country and share some of our recent activities and current robot!

Next up on our senior spotlight is Jacob! Jacob has been on the team for 2 years and was part of our Programming Subgroup this year.

Our next senior is Jack! Jack has been on the team for 4 years and was part of our Electrical Subgroup this year.

“My favorite robotics memory this year was the team all thanking people at the end of the second day at the hotel at Buckeye regional I just felt that really showed how connected the team is with each other and how everyone including me feels appreciated and felt like they did something to help out the team”

Next up is Lea! Lea has been on the team for 4 years and was our Electrical Lead this year.

Next on our senior spotlight is Raissa! Raissa has been on the team for 4 years and was our Engineering Project Manager and Human Player this year.

“My favorite memory from this year was getting to be down in the pits again and talking to all of the other teams”

We’re starting our senior spotlights off with Hadiyah! Hadiyah has been on the team for 4 years, and was our Administrative Project Manager this year.

“My favorite memory is on the bus going to New York we were playing Smash bros and I severally lost each time but it was super fun.”

We had an amazing time at the Buckeye Regional last weekend! Thank you to and for being amazing alliance partners in the playoff matches, and congrats to all the teams that are moving on to the world championships! Thank you to all the teams that made the Buckeye Regional a fun and welcoming environment to compete in.

Our competition season is over, but best of luck to all the teams moving on and the Metrobots will see you next time!
