I miss Eric James Hurst Eric...gone from our lives...leaving many broken hearted. July 16, 1976 ~ September 20, 2000. Clearly at an early age, Eric was called to a life of service.

Eric raced inside the house from his Dukes of Hazzard big wheel and said, "Mommy, when I grow up I'm gonna be a poweezeman and marry you"!! He graduated from Westerville High School in 1994. He so loved life. In 1998 he graduated from The Sheriff's Academy in Lancaster, Ohio. He found people to be of such interest. Eric was bright, loving, kind and compassionate with a contagious spirit of laughter. And a heart of gold. Eric's life ended on September 20TH, 2,000. He was 24 year's old. He was hit head-on by a negligent driver, 7FT. LOC, in Eric's lane of travel. Eric is survived by sister Jesse and brother Joshua, Unle Tim, Uncle Steve and Uncle Mike... Grandparents....and so many special friends...he loved dearly. This page of remembrance has been created to honor and celebrate the beauty of Eric's life...gone too soon.

Last night you came to see me
when the darkness had no light

and I held your spirit tight
