Meet my All Star Scholars of the YCLPDP after our first encounter a student writes,

"I am a student of University of Dschang studying sociology. I was very impressed by the conference we had which I assisted you. Your boldness, your patience, your motivation and best of all, your objectives.

Welcome inaugural class of the 2026 YCLPDP!

I attended the Thesis Defense at the Institute Universitaire de la Côte today. The thesis was written and presented totally in Yemba. This is one of a few times that the Native language prevailed in this forum.

The Scholarly Defense team were dressed in caps and gowns, highlighting cultural pride with the traditional Ndop cloth.

The Youth Cultural Language Preservation Discovery Program - YCLPDP officially opens for the Spring 2026 session at the University of Dschang. We have a few seats left, register now!

Celebrate with me an ARHF All Star Scholar of the YCLPDP, Nembaye Beoumam produced the first thesis on new African Thought, entitled "The Deconstruction of Colonial Concepts for a New African Thought: A Study of the Light of Lost Times and Gahi, or the Indigenous Affair of Henri Djombo,".

It is a research project aimed at deconstructing colonial concepts and thus proposing a renewed African thought. The concepts highlighted throughout this work include: the primacy of the capitalist economy, otherness, the concept of the Third World, the civilizing mission, and others.

This work contributes to the awakening, the brainwashing, and the radical awareness of Africans so that they can think for themselves about their economic, political, socio-cultural development. She graduated with highest honors, 17/20.

African Roots and Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization in Detroit, MI, has established a new office on the University of Dschang campus in Cameroon to initiate the YCLPDP Youth Cultural Language Preservation Discovery Program, an independent Study Abroad course worth 3 credits transferable worldwide.
