As Elizabeth scrolled through pictures for us on her phone on Monday, she told News 5 she’s reminded of the joy her son, Thomas Lucas, used to bring.

If we could see ourselves through God's eyes instead of our own or others, we would see that through Christ we are made whole. Our sins have been washed away. Our past is just that... in the past. He loves us unconditionally. He knows we fail Him, but He gives grace and mercy. While He was here on earth, He was an example of true and real love.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

We are so thankful for Michael’s progress. If you would like to help support us financially during this time we would appreciate it more than you know. These past few months have not been easy on our budget so any help takes some pressure and stress off of us.

Today Michael will be getting an Endoscopy done to put stints in the Liver bile ducts and to check to see where he may have an upper GI bleed. We are anxiously waiting and praying it’s just a simple ulcer that can be treated. I will keep you updated as we get results.

Some have asked if we have a GoFundMe and we did go ahead and set one up as things are happening that we couldn’t plan for. We also have a Venmo account. We appreciate all the help you have given and all the prayers you have prayed over us. If you could also share this link we would appreciate it so much. We know God will provide where we can’t. Our lives are in His hands.

Hello our friends and family. This past year has been very difficult for us in man… Betty Scott needs your support for With expenses due to cancer diagnosis.
