Firefly Support Services Legacy will never end...the history and relationships built by Stephen are strong!

21 years ago I had a job interview with this guy. He hired me on the spot. We worked together since that day. I knew nothing about working in the field when I took the job. I didn’t even really want the job.
Arriving on my first day, I was met with a post it note on the door saying sorry! Please go on in and get a feel for things. I grumbled under my breath about not wanting the damn job anyway, but pressed on. He had a way of comforting and encouraging people, even when you didn’t want to be.
“His dad said to me once, he is a dreamer. But he dreams it and goes. I saw in his face that even though his style differed from his own, he was proud and was surely a quiet cheerleader, who showed up every time one of Stephen’s dreams were playing out in real life.
We laughed a lot, we screamed loudly……. Okay I screamed loudly, we were friends. Over lunch, dinner, drinks, conference tables and white boards I followed his dream. I followed because I believed in him and all he was capable of doing. The individuals we work with loved him with everything they had in them. Me too. I didn’t see him everyday. He worked predominantly from home, but now that I won’t…..I don’t know. I don’t remember being as broken as I feel right now. The awesome part of that is so many people feel exactly the same. It says a lot about the kind soul he was. One of the best people I have ever known. Why is he not the best? His mother is. Rest In Peace my friend.

Time has a way of getting away from us. Love people. Just love them.

Happy Thursday Morning!! We have some news to share with you all. Firefly Apothecary is moving. The brick and mortar concept is shutting down. Today's retail/Covid climate no longer supports having a store held within 4 walls.
This is not the end of Firefly Apothecary!! In fact it is a new beginning. Our focus will be with online sales, new projects and in the new year, you can find us at farm markets, festivals, and the like. We are basing the day service/production at 781 Northwest blvd, our main office. Be on the look out for us to get into some new adventures.
