We have a class Bigfoot!!! This big guy will go home with each student this year. They will write about their adventures and take some pics. I print the pics and we keep using the same journal.

Just snagged these half sized composition books at Walmart! They were $5 for a 10 pack. Can't wait to use them for our Word of the Day vocabulary lessons!

Making butter as we learn about the changing states of matter! The kids were amazed! They loved it. There is a lab pack in my tpt store.

Foil Boat Lab - kids had to design a foil boat that could hold the most pennies. They learned a lot about what design to use after a few rounds!

Working on a few science labs with our study of the RMS Titanic! This one is trying to figure out if ice melts faster with or without salt.

My students always enjoy learning about the RMS Titanic! We read an informational book as well as a graphic novel to go with the science labs and other activities we complete. These pictures show our vocabulary words and our fact and myth posters.

Landfill Models - this is a great way to get kids to understand how landfills are actually made! I have a pack of science labs for renewable and non-renewable energy sources!

Wind Lab - how many pennies can your wind contraption lift up? Kids kept making adjustments each round! So much fun!

Practicing fractions using dominoes! We do a Math Mat each week to practice math skills!

Working on line plots! These can be tough for kids. Since it is March, why not connect it to some math madness! Line plots with shooting paper baskets!

Building a word wall with all the words my kiddos love from the novel we are currently reading- The Willoughbys by Lois Lowry! The kids choose their favorite word from each section of chapters and create a word card. The cards are glued to the sheet of white bulletin board paper.

Biographies are always an interesting project! My kiddos are getting better with their designs on Google slides!
