I'm teaching Ikebana lessons this Saturday (1/13) and Wednesday (1/17) in Columbus, OH! You'll learn to create a Rising Form arrangement (Hana-isho Kihon Tateru-katachi) - a simple arrangement that's the 1st style taught in the Ohara School of Ikebana.
Saturday's class is 10:30 to Noon.
Wednesday's class is from 4 to 5:30 PM.
If you are new to Ikebana or need the right container, a kenzan (needle holder), or scissors, I can loan you those to use in class.
Bring a container to take your flowers home so you can repeat your lesson and have a great arrangement to enjoy for days.
You can reserve your seat at www.createNcraft.com (both classes are listed on the front page). Both lessons will teach the same technique, but each will use different flowers.
Reservations for Saturday close Thursday evening, so you have to act fast! Space is limited!
Note: Flowers and containers shown in the photos are examples only. Flowers and containers used in glass will vary from those in the photos. Photos are from the Ohara School book, Hana-gata Cards (the basic curriculum of the Ohara School of Ikebana).
