Congratulations, Ryan Winston!

Ryan Winston, associate professor in Ohio State FABE and CEGE at Ohio State, received the 2026 Distinguished Junior Faculty Research Award at this month's CFAES Awards. 🏆

Ryan's research in water resources engineering provides real-world solutions to federal and state agencies, local governments and watershed groups. In the past five years, he has accrued upwards of 275 publications, presentations, fact sheets and other papers — as well as a patent related to keeping litter and debris out of storm sewers.
