We are so excited to see all the first years moving in today!! Welcome to your second home!!
for this we have a few organizational tips to help you stay focused this semester!
The top five organizational tips starts with...
1. Make a To Do list
- this will help to keep track of everything you have to do in
the order of which thing is due first
2. Color Code
- highlighting things will soon become your best friend
3. Find your favorite study location
- whether it be the library, Cap Grounds, or your dorm room,
finding a consistent place to study can aid in memorization
and getting task done on time
4. Set Goals
- set goals to get something done each day. Try setting a
time for you to get things done by
5. Use a planner
- Using a planner can help keep track of all your
responsibilities.
Have you every considered adding a second major or even adding a minor? Many think that double majors are out of reach or too difficult, we are here to tell you that you can do it!! Many PR majors actually have complimenting minors or majors to add to their résumés!
Our President, Jeanne Marie, is a double major in PR and Organizational Communications
Our VP of Programming, Choni, is a double major in PR and Psychology
Our VP of Service, Tyler, is a Communications major with a minor in psychology
And I, Claire, the VP of Communications, am a double major in PR and Organizational Communications with a minor in Marketing
As you can see it is possible, and you can find many complimentary majors or minors to go along with your desired major!
