Tips for a good answer from an interviewee:
Tie your background to the job listing; what skills and qualities do you have that apply to the role? ➡️ Highlight those and give an example as to when you used those in the past.
Also, make sure your values complement the mission of the company, showcase that you are a problem solver, and help them know that you will make their lives easier.
What the hiring manager wants from this question:
They want to see if and how confident you are in your skills for the position. ➡️ What makes you better than the rest of the talent pool looking to take the role?
They also want to know if you're serious about the position - how well did you prepare for the interview? Do you know what the job entails? How will you take on these tasks for them?
