-Not your traditional teachers/tutors - we have fun while learning!
-New highly qualified tutors are onboard that are trained in reading and literacy, dyslexia, and TESOL.

WHO:
Does your child need help with... Homework? Studying for a test? General help with any subject area? Organizational skills? Study habits? Test taking strategies? Time management? Health & Nutrition? Working with money (saving, budgeting, etc)?

WHAT:
ENGAGING and PERSONALIZED instruction around your child’s needs. Uses interactive activities and direct instruction to help students understand. Knowledgeable about Ohio’s Learning Standards. Computer will be provided for use during lesson if needed. Not your traditional teacher/tutor - we have fun while learning!

WHEN:
Flexible hours throughout the week.

WHERE:
At the main library at 96 S Grant Ave. Why? There is access to WiFi, books, resources, space, and safety.

WHY:
Intervention Specialist/ Special education teacher for four years (help students reach goals with learning and behavioral challenges). Worked with kids (ages 5-14) for more than 10 summers on lessons around reading skills, leaderships skills, violence prevention, social emotional learning, etc. Studied abroad for three weeks in Colombia. Philosophy in teaching: Have fun while learning in multiple ways.

HOW:

DETAILS:
Only $45 per hour!
*minimum 30min sessions

Group sessions available...
2 students (same subject) $80 per hour
($40 per person)
3-5 students (same subject) $100 per hour ($20-30 per person)

Do you live further away from the main library? Additional $10-20 if I come to the nearest library by you.

Parents will be invited to join a private support group to access study tips, behavior management strategies, and live workshops for Q&A.

Computer will be provided for use during lesson if needed. Not your traditional teacher/tutor - we have fun while learning!

Columbus Metropolitan Library: Main Library 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43215 There is access to WiFi, books, resources, space, and safety.

Virtual options via zoom is available.

WHY:
