About Me
Out of a passion for teaching and working with children for more than 15 years in and out of the classroom, I decided to start Online tutoring to be able to give children the one-on-one attention they need to overcome obstacles related to Math and Reading. I am a licensed teacher and offer lessons for students in PreK-8th grade. I have taught in public and private schools and even homeschooled our 3 girls. I have a caring and patient demeanor and believe every child can succeed.
My approach is simple. I start with a diagnostic to find and fix their learning gaps. I find that working together for 45min., 2x/wk is best due to their attention spans but meeting consistently is key. Six weeks is a good starting point and from there I give another benchmark test to see how they have improved. My goal is to have good communication with each family to establish a good working relationship and to personalize their child’s learning based on their learning style, likes, and personality.
I start with a 20-minute free consultation over the phone to answer all of your questions and to get to know what I need to know about your child. From there, we will discuss pricing and if you would like 1:1 tutoring in Math or Reading or Group online lessons.
