Got a commission for this set of patio furniture by a client who had found them at a thrift shop. They were originally painted purple and were starting to rot away so we remade all the wooden pieces out of quarter sawn white oak and finished them with an exterior rated clear coat. Because many of the pieces were either worn or completely missing we guessed at a measurement and went from there. I think they turned out pretty well!

A while back I made this quick little chess board to use with some small travel pieces I had. You don’t always have to make things out of the best or most expensive material to accomplish a task. No matter what you are working with, get out there and make something.

The continuation of the desk build for my sister. This was a super simple build made from inexpensive materials. You don’t always need to break the bank to make something beautiful and functional.

My little sister was in need of a desk so my dad and I started making one for her. Making things can be just for fun, but it can also be a utilitarian skill.

Yesterday I decided to personalize some of my PPE ( personal protective equipment). Whether it’s your name, a logo, or a color coding scheme, labeling your own equipment and tools is a fun way to keep track of what is yours; especially if you work in group environments.

Some shots of the desk I recently made before it got stained black. It’s crazy how one extra step can completely change the overall look of a piece.

This is my entry into the it’s a very simple design made of red oak that I then dyed black. While this isn’t for me personally my neighbor will hopefully get a lot of use out of it for years to come.
