Columbus Classical Academy (CCA), a Hillsdale College curriculum school, is a Pre-K thru 12 private classical school located in central Ohio.

Join us on October 22 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. for an evening with Dr. Matthew Spalding, Hillsdale College professor, constitutional scholar, and author of The Making of the American Mind: The Story of Our Declaration of Independence.

Dr. Spalding's session promises to create a foundation for exploring the ideas, history, and enduring truths at the heart of the American founding. This free event is open to the public, and all are welcome!

Every morning, our students recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Teddy Roosevelt said, “We can have no ’50-50′ allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.” He likely had in mind split loyalties between countries. But today, the greater risk is a divided loyalty between our country and ourselves.

The next time you say or hear the Pledge, ask yourself, who or what do I pledge my allegiance to?

Labor Day honors the American worker and the contributions they make to build our nation strong. It began in the late 1800s as a day to recognize hard work, dignity and the importance of every day's labor, some of the same values we strive to instill here at CCA.

Tis the season for the question: "Where do you go to school?" Here's a better one: "What school are you a member of?" That's closer to the truth of the thing. A real school isn't just a place you go—it's a community you belong to. The difference matters, because belonging comes with real privilege and real responsibility.
