Are you a proud dad? Celebrate fatherhood with us at our annual Proud Dad Cookout!

This year, we are partnering with the Columbus Department of Public Safety, Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services, Columbus Area United Way, and partner organizations of the Franklin County Fatherhood Coalition to put together the biggest celebration yet.

We are going to have bounce houses, game trucks, carnival games, virtual reality, kindergarten readiness activities and more! Most exciting, we are going to be having a cookoff! The Inaugural Grill Master Invitational will feature 15 dads trying to prove that they are the best cook in the city.

With the African American Male Wellness Agency Fatherhood Initiative, we are trying to do everything that we can to create a community of active fatherhood.

That's why, every June , we throw a city-wide cookout celebrating all things dad. This year, we are partnering with the City of Columbus, the United Way of Central Ohio, CCAF Columbus, Franklin County Job and Family Services, and the Franklin County Fatherhood Coalition to put on the biggest Proud Dad Cookout EVER!

At the Proud Dad Cookout, we will have bounce houses, game trucks, carnival games, virtual reality, face painting, a kindergarten readiness pavilion, and FREE FOOD, all in the name of good, clean, family fun!

For the first time ever, we will also be having a cook off with our Inaugural Grill Master Invitational. Now is the time to show once and for all, who the best grillers are in the city. If you get busy on the grills, make sure that you sign up! Grand Prize Winners will get a FREE smoker!

Meet us at 1200 Brentnell Ave, June 11, from 12-4. This will be a day that the city never forgets! We hope that you make it out!

Cooking with Dads is a FREE health initiative for dads and their children. This event fosters building and reinforcing healthy relationships between fathers, grandfathers and their children/grandchildren, while exposing them to resources and methods that will help them create healthy meals.

This hands-on event is for dads and their kids as well as kids with mentors or other father-figure males in their life, will include instructional meal prep sessions with local professional chefs, healthy food demonstrations, and surprise guests!

Every year, Cooking With Dads is one of our favorite events, as it gives dads a chance to spend quality time with their kids and help to get them acclimated to a wellness lifestyle.

Join us on November 18, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center from 6 PM until 8 PM for night of nutrition and fun!
