Ambassador Elena Kolbrek () performed on behalf of VF as a part of Final Fridays in Lawrence, Kansas. Through the generous support of hosts Harry and Emily at the Phoenix Gallery and other patrons, VF raised $80 in cash donations.

Welcome to Columbus, GA. Freyder!!!

Student Scholar and Venezuelan Oboist Freyder Rodriguez will start his English studies at the ELI at Columbus State University and then transition to a first year music student (oboe performance) at the Schwob School of Music under the mentorship of Dr. Susan Tomkiewicz.

We want to congratulate Maestro Luis Miguel De León for mentoring, guiding, and inspiring Freyder since he started as a student in the foundation. TODAY, Freyder's dream materializes, and his arrival will serve as inspiration for many other oboists around the world.
