We closed out the 2025–2026 school year with our annual End-of-the-Year Breakfast and Awards Ceremony! 💚💛

This year brought growth, challenges, celebrations, and many accomplishments for Waddell. From academic gains and student opportunities to family engagement and memorable experiences, our school continued moving forward.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for giving their all every single day for our learners and school community. Your hard work and dedication made the difference!

Our Pre-K Warriors had an AMAZING time celebrating the end of a wonderful year at Sky Zone! 🎉✨ From jumping and laughing to making unforgettable memories together, it was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible school year. We are so proud of all they’ve learned, accomplished, and the friendships they’ve built along the way. 💛 💚

Our Kindergarten Warriors had an amazing day at the library! 📚✨ From exciting books and creative arts & crafts to hands-on STEAM activities and lots of fun, our learners explored, created, and discovered. Experiences like these help build a love for learning that will last a lifetime! 💚💛

Last night, our Art Club hosted a fun-filled Movie Night in the gym for club members and their families! 🍿🎬 Families enjoyed a great evening of laughter, snacks, and togetherness as we celebrated creativity and community. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night so special for our young artists! 🎨✨

Today, we celebrated all learners whose parents have already completed online registration for next school year with a special ice cream party! 🍦🎉

Thank you to our amazing parents for being proactive and getting registration completed early. Your partnership and support help us prepare for another successful school year at Waddell! 💚💛

We wrapped up an AMAZING Warrior Appreciation Week with our final color party day — GRAY — because there’s NO gray area… our Warriors are truly appreciated! 🩶

Today, staff enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch provided by our wonderful PTA, and we proudly wore our Teacher Appreciation Week shirts that perfectly tied together this week’s theme: it takes ALL the colors to shape our Warriors.

From the fun, laughter, treats, prizes, lunches, and special moments shared throughout the week, we hope our Warriors know just how valued and appreciated they are each and every day. Thank you for making this the BEST school year! 🎉 💚💛

Today, Waddell proudly hosted a Graduation Parade for the Class of 2026! Seniors from high schools across the area returned to where their journeys first began, walking our hallways one last time in their caps and gowns.

Current learners and staff lined the halls alongside former Waddell staff to cheer on our graduates and celebrate this exciting milestone. Seeing our former learners return as graduating seniors was a full circle moment and a powerful reminder to our current Warriors that hard work, perseverance, and dedication lead to success.

Once a Warrior, always a Warrior! Congratulations, Class of 2026! 💚💛

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating Ms. Khalilah Wallace at the MEEF Teacher of the Year Banquet! As one of our outstanding kindergarten teachers, Ms. Wallace has made an incredible impact during her 3 years at Waddell. She has served as Lead Kindergarten Teacher, a member of our Leadership and PBIS teams, cheerleading coach, and our Science of Reading model classroom teacher.

We are grateful for the love, dedication, and leadership she pours into our learners and school community each day. Waddell is better because of Ms. Wallace, and we are proud to celebrate her! 💚💛
