Flyer: https://www.cvlga.org/media/809
Signing up:
When signing up, your library will be the Chattahoochee Valley Library. Make/log in to your account. Use the Columbus Public Library as your primary library (unless you have a different preference). Now you may add a reader, your child, to the profile. When adding the student, it will ask what school the student will attend in the fall. Please select Midland Academy or wherever they will attend next year. Next, register for the Summer Reading Challenge Unearth A Story.
Logging Reading:
After selecting the profile, click the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and select reading. You may search for the title of the book or log without the title. Select the date the student read and the number of minutes they have read. Then click done. The users will achieve badges and rewards for posting their reading time.
Rewards:
Every 100 minutes on Bean Stack or a completed reading log sheet, students can go to any branch of the library and receive a candy, toy, sticker, or similar prize. The staff can find their account online to see their prizes.
End of summer, for every 100 minutes read, each reader (child or adult), will be included in a raffle for prizes.
Midland Academy rewards will be a shout-out on the news and an invitation to a doughnut social for at least 300 minutes read during the summer.
Let's get reading, Cubs!!! Be looking out for weekly challenges from our school!

Once a Cub, always a Cub!
We loved going down memory lane with these Midland Academy Cubs at, who are now graduating seniors. They walked the halls of their old stomping grounds one last time as a MCSD student taking it all in! Some even went back to play on the playground and in the gym for old times’ sake 💚💚💚
We are so proud of them and all their accomplishments. We can’t wait to see all their future endeavors!

We are thrilled to announce the Midland Academy Robo Cubs won 1st place! Our Robo Cubs chose rough terrain for their focus in today’s competition. This is a challenging course and our cubs did amazing! Thank you everyone for supporting us today! A special thanks to Mrs. McDavid and Mr. Gore for their guidance.

Our teachers and staff were treated to a wonderful experience last week and had a fantastic time. We are grateful for the support of our community, as it would not have been possible without them. We would like to extend our appreciation to the numerous businesses and individuals who contributed.
