Special congratulations to Most Worshipful Grand Master Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., Esq. and the jurisdiction of Alabama for their leadership in coordinating this meaningful annual gathering in Selma. Your leadership ensures that the spirit of the march—and the fight for justice—continues to live on.

Prince Hall Masons, Eastern Stars, and representatives from all Masonic organizations from across the nation assembled in Selma, Alabama to commemorate the 61st anniversary of 'Bloody Sunday', a pivotal moment in the voting rights movement. On that day, peaceful demonstrators marching across the Edmund Pettus Bridge were brutally assaulted by State Troopers, resulting in numerous injuries. We pay tribute to the courageous individuals who suffered for the cause and emphasize the need for unity. Let us honor their legacy by casting our votes and upholding this fundamental right.
