As we wrap up our fall trips we wanted to express how thankful we are for all GMT staff, translators, and doctors in Peru and Dominican Republic. We would not have been able to do any of this without them, and their generosity to take the time to teach us both medical knowledge, and Spanish language.
We had a total of 63 trippers this year, which is the largest group Mizzou and GMT has ever taken! Because of this, we were able to have two separate trips, Peru and Dominican Republic. We had the privilege of treating over 1,900 patients across both trips!
Lastly, we wanted to thank everyone who attended canning events, donated to our fundraisers and feminine health care/public health drives. This trip would not have been possible without you.
