TWO Academies Magnet at Dent Middle School

Our Two Academies and TLC magnet program students students had an unforgettable experience on their trip to Colonial Williamsburg!

From walking through history and exploring life in colonial America to engaging in hands-on learning experiences, our students gained so much knowledge.  However, we all know what happens when there’s all work and no play so to ensure there was no boredom on this trip they also got to enjoy a little mini golf as well as spent their last day at Busch Gardens.

Beyond the history lessons, this 3 day trip gave students the opportunity to build stronger friendships, create lasting memories, and grow together as a community.

We are so proud of the way they represented our school through their curiosity, kindness, and enthusiasm throughout the trip.

What an amazing experience for everyone involved!

At Dent Middle School, we appreciate the military families we have the honor of welcoming into our community each year. Their resilience, sacrifice, and commitment does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to support and learn from them.

Let’s celebrate an incredible achievement! I am proud to announce that TWO Academies has been named a Magnet Schools of America Merit Award winner: School of Distinction🌟

This honor reflects the dedication, innovation, and commitment of our students, staff, and community. We will be officially recognized this spring at the annual conference in San Diego, from April 14 to 17, 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this moment with everyone who made it possible.

In the meantime, take time to celebrate this well-deserved accomplishment. This recognition is a true testament to the outstanding work happening every day. Congratulations to all involved because we are Better TWOgether!
