Where science meets music! 👩‍🔬🎵 This instrument is a Water Xylophone. To make one you need:

Glass Jar(s) 🫙
Water 💧
Stick (I like an old pencil) ✏️
Food dye (optional) 🌈

Try adding a glass jar to your kids water table and experimenting with how the pitches change as the water level increases and decreases.

*NO Family Fun Fest this evening*

With multiple weather forecasts showing a strong chance of severe weather, gusting winds and a tornado watch this evening, we've made the decision to cancel tonight's Family Fun Fest at Cosmo Park. These are always difficult decisions but the safety of park visitors, vendors, volunteers and staff is our first priority.

Time for Mornings at the River, round 2! The Missouri River is showing off its powerful beauty. Get ready to experience the delight and wonder of seeing our kids interacting with nature. Also, watch out for turtles on your way! Ms. Tess saved *2* turtles on the way to Coopers Landing Tuesday morning! 🐢

Thank you Centralia Anchor Festival for having me out today! The rain this morning was a bummer, but we made it work, and now its a perfectly cool evening to enjoy the great food, music, and rides. Make sure to go visit tonight or tomorrow for fun for the whole family!
