Day 3: Recognizing the Signs of Mental Health Struggles Can Save a Life—Even Your Own.

Mental health challenges don’t always show up in obvious ways.
Sometimes it’s the constant fatigue… the short temper… the quiet withdrawal.

Here are a few signs to watch for—whether it’s in yourself or someone you care about:
• Persistent sadness or hopelessness
• Increased irritability or anger
• Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much
• Loss of interest in things once enjoyed
• Feeling overwhelmed or disconnected
• Turning to alcohol or substances to cope

You don’t have to suffer in silence. Support is available.
Start by talking to someone you trust. The first step is the strongest one.
