Middle school girls, get ready to sharpen your basketball skills, compete, and have fun on the court! The Maury County Girls Basketball Mini Camps are designed exclusively for middle school girls, focusing on:

🏀 Skill development
🤝 Small-sided games
🔥 Competitive scrimmages
🧠 Decision making

We are excited to kick off high school football week #1 with the Front Porch Sports Network for our game of the week at Mt. Pleasant High School as they take on Battle Creek High School! Last night, we recognized and thanked Maury County Public Schools Board of Education, Vice Chairman, Will Sims, for his eight years of dedicated service at his final Board meeting.

Throughout his time on the Board, Will served in a variety of leadership roles, consistently demonstrating a genuine servant’s heart. His commitment to our students, families, educators, and community has made a lasting impact on our school system.

Please expect significant delays in afternoon student drop-off times today due to a traffic accident on I-65. Traffic on I-65 North and South are currently shut down near mile marker 50 (Kedron Road). The closure is expected to greatly impact traffic throughout the area, particularly routes coming from the eastern and northern parts of the county.

School buses and vehicles may experience longer-than-normal travel times as they navigate alternate routes and congested roadways. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our transportation teams work to safely get students home.
