The purpose for our public health intervention is to encourage individuals throughout the community to practice safe s*x. Our hope is enabling people to use protection through access, education, social, and community support. The goal is to decrease the spread and contraction of Chlamydia through the Columbia/Boone County community in effort to protect individual’s s*xual health. Our specific popu
lation we choose to focus on is women’s s*xual and reproductive health due to the fact that they are the most effected by the disease in this area. As a result of our health promotion program, we hope to provide informed s*xual education to all women in order to prevent future cases of Chlamydia.
