Today, June 1, is the final day for SC schools to upload their SIC Report to Parents to the SIC Member Network: https://sic.ed.sc.edu/network/default.asp

If your schools has not yet uploaded its report, please do so today to remain in compliance with state requirements.

The deadline to upload your school's 2026 Report to Parents to the SIC Member Network is Monday, June1.

Uploading your report is REQUIRED for state compliance and helps ensure your community has access to important information about your SIC's work and school improvement efforts.

If you’re seeing an error about file size (10 MB limit), you’re not alone.

The fix is simple:
Just compress your PDF before uploading.

You can use the free Adobe Acrobat Online PDF Compressor (https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html) No login required.

Upload your file, download the smaller version, and you should be good to go!

Tip: If your file is still too large, try selecting a higher compression level.

We know many schools are finalizing uploads. Hang in there, you’re almost done! If you run into any issues, we’re here to help.

South Carolina SICs: Tomorrow is the deadline!

Your Report to Parents must be distributed to your parents and school community by April 30. Share it with families via website, email, social media, or print copies.

Remember: Upload to the member Network by June 1.

We’re still reflecting on the energy, ideas, and inspiration shared at the 2026 South Carolina School Improvement Council Annual Conference.

From meaningful conversations and practical breakout sessions to celebrating outstanding councils and hearing from passionate leaders, this year’s conference was a powerful reminder of what happens when families, educators, students, and communities come together for student success.

One Week left: Report to Parents must be distributed by April 30!

The annual Report to Parents must be distributed to your school community by Thursday, April 30. This report is an important opportunity to share your SIC’s work, celebrate progress, and keep families informed.

We encourage schools to share the report in as many ways as possible so families and community members can easily access it. Consider posting it on your school website, emailing it to families, sharing on social media, and keeping printed copies available in the front office.

We also encourage principals to go ahead and upload the completed report to the SC-SIC Member Network once it has been distributed, ahead of the June 1 deadline.
