Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc - Xi Epsilon Lambda Chapter

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Bro. King was initiated into this great fraternity on June 22, 1952 by way of the Sigma Chapter in Boston, MA.

We, as Alphas, pride ourselves on not just quoting Bro. King each year for his birthday, but also doing the necessary civil rights work that he began long ago and is still needed today. We challenge you to consider how you might exemplify Bro. King’s words not just today, but every day of this year and beyond.

Today is not only the start of a new year, but it’s also our charter day!

40 years ago, the Xi Epsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha was chartered here in Columbia, Missouri.






Due to all that is happening in our world right now, our celebration will be postponed until Spring, but make sure you stay tuned for details for that special day.
