"Hello! My name is Allison Strenk, and I am excited to join the Gray team as a second grade teacher this year! I recently graduated from University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am from the Irmo/Chapin area and have coached gymnastics for the past seven years, which has strengthened my passion for working with children and helping them grow.
Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, reading, playing pickleball, and enjoying cards and board games.
I cannot wait to create a classroom environment where students feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn while growing in every aspect of themselves. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to join the Gray family, and I look forward to meeting my students and their wonderful families!"

"My name is Paige Gilstrap, and I am originally from Texas! I graduated from The Citadel in 2024 and have spent the last two years teaching First Grade!
I love teaching because I enjoy building relationships with students, helping them grow in confidence, and creating a classroom where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to learn each day. Watching students grow academically, socially, and emotionally is the most rewarding part of being a teacher.
I played collegiate golf at The Citadel and love helping guide and encourage students who are interested in pursuing a future in golf.
When Iβm not teaching, you can usually find me spending time with my dog, Charli, and my fiancΓ©, Jacob, whether weβre playing golf, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, or enjoying time outdoors together!
Iβm so excited to be joining the Gray Collegiate family and look forward to this new chapter in Columbia!"
