Today I had the honor of speaking to the South Carolina Synod ELCA Assembly about a topic very close to my heart: meditation.

I was blessed to be joined by my good friend, Bishop Emeritus Rev. Herman Yoos. Together, we shared our experiences teaching contemplative prayer over the past several years and spent time meditating together.

What a wonderful opportunity to introduce others to this transformative practice and to reflect on how silence, stillness, and prayer can help us become more aware of God’s presence in our lives. 😊🙏🏽🤎 🧘🏻
