Patience is an amazing tool to have. Patience is also something that can be easy to lose. How does patience help you and where does patience take a flying leap and leave you hanging?

Resilience isn’t just about how much you can handle.
It’s about how you speak to yourself while you’re handling it.
High-achieving, driven people often look steady on the outside…
But inside?
The voice can be relentless.
“Do better.”
“Don’t slow down.”
“Why is this still hard?”
Over time, that tone shapes your nervous system.
It shapes your confidence.
It shapes your capacity.
Resilience grows in safety — not self-criticism.
What if, under pressure, your inner voice sounded like:
“This is a lot… and I’m allowed to take it one step at a time.”
“I can be committed and compassionate.”
“I’m learning.”
That shift is subtle.
But it changes everything.
If this resonates, I’d love to know —
What’s one sentence you’re practicing replacing lately?

Intention and what that looks like has been on my mind this week.
How often do you hear someone say “I intended to….”. Yet what they intended to do didn’t come to fruition. Or have you heard, “They had the best of intentions “, which to me sounds like someone tried something and it didn’t go quite as planned.
Now it seems like we hear a lot of “I’m trying to be intentional” or “I’m doing this with intention.”
What does intention mean to you?
I think that intention is someone making a conscious effort to do something, accomplish something, or be something.
I lean into being intentional in some areas, and others areas there’s not as much intention. I think when we have intention it’s because something means a lot to us. And when we struggle with being intentional we are being pulled away from what matters to us.
Just my thought for tonight. Intention itself, has what I feel is many layers worth exploring.
Where do you show up with intention? Where do you want to show up with intention? What has being intentional done for you?

Who thinks doing taxes is a pain? I have to tell myself to slow down, breath and be patient. Taxes and deductibles is still a different language for me! Even after all these years. I manage to get it done.
Be patient with yourself if tax time is a challenging time.

Empower Your Journey
Every day presents a new chance to evolve, learn, and transcend your perceived limitations. The path to success is rarely linear; instead, it's a dynamic journey marked by twists, turns, and challenges that ultimately shape us into the best versions of ourselves.
Here's how to stay motivated:
- Set Clear Goals: Define your aspirations and break them down into manageable, actionable steps to maintain momentum.
- Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge every step forward, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Each accomplishment brings you closer to your ultimate objective.
- Stay Accountable: Share your goals with a trusted individual who can offer support and encouragement. This sense of accountability can serve as a powerful motivator.
- Embrace Failure: Recognize that setbacks are an inevitable part of growth. Instead of dwelling on failures, use them as opportunities to learn and propel yourself forward.
- Visualize Success: Take a moment each day to vividly imagine yourself achieving your goals. This practice can enhance motivation, focus, and overall well-being.
Key Takeaway: Your journey is distinct and filled with untapped potential. Stay committed, passionate, and confident in your abilities. The best version of yourself is within reach.
What's one goal you're currently working towards? How do you celebrate your progress?

Just enjoying a moment with the sunset.

2025 was a year for sure! There were moments of joy, and moments of hardship. Challenges and successes. As it is with every year. What makes a year stand out more than other years?
I think it’s how we choose to be present and aware of what’s going on.
I got married! Yay!
And my mother has been battling being sick and has been in the hospital for the last 4 months. Boo. Both of these have been on different ends of the joy meter.
Which brings me to, how does awareness play out in our lives? I find that being aware of our emotions and our choices help us to be present in moments of joy, and strong in hardships. We can’t escape the challenges thrown our way, however we can lean into the beauty that does surround us.
My optimism was challenged tremendously last year. Which reminded me of a speech I wrote a long time ago about how optimism is a choice. What you seek is what you find. I found so much joy because I searched for it. Searching for joy especially in hard moments is a challenge.
When going through good or bad, give your self permission to be okay to enjoy the good. Someone shared that it was okay to enjoy the happy and joyful even when hard things were happening. Both can be true at the same time. She shared it with me knowing I was feeling guilty, sad, worried and stressed. Sometimes, that reminder is what’s needed.
It’s hard to have awareness all the time. It’s hard to be human.
Forgive yourself when you need to. Give yourself permission when you need to. Surround yourself with people who will remind you and lift up when you need it.
May 2026 be a year that builds strength and resilience through all things good and bad.
