The email was filled with things like "It's not just a job—it's a calling" and other meaningless platitudes.

I guess being delusional is easier than looking in the mirror?

Post-COVID classrooms are different. The advice doesn’t always translate, and current teachers can see right through it.

This is quite literally a true story.

Instead of saying areas of weakness, I have to say room for improvement.

Instead of saying struggling, I have to say striving.

Tell me why? To protect the feelings of children and their parents, who are falling even more behind by the day. 😕

These kids are never silent, ever.

And yes, being able to sit quietly and read is a skill children need to be successful as they get older.
