🩷Acts of Kindness🩷

✨I had been wanting to, meaning to visit my husband’s grandmother outside of get togethers many times over the past few years. I was always too busy for one reason or another and didn’t get it done. I would manage to get over there with some of my kids and husband, but never got over there by myself, so we could just hang out.
I made up my mind after one of my husband’s cousin’s passed away that I WAS going to do it. I will be going over there 2-3 times per month from now on.
More times than I can count at family get togethers she has said, “You know you can come by anytime and see me. I’m usually home and if you tell me you’re coming over I’ll make sure I am.”
Life is full, but if I let dishes, laundry, etc. wait I can make it happen. Cleaning no longer rules my life as much because my desire to spend time with the ones I care about and to experience more in life means a lot more to me.
We had such a good visit talking the whole time. Being kind brings joy to others and ourselves. It brightens up the world.
I encourage you to do a random act of kindness and see how happy it makes them and you.
