Hello and welcome to the JRC Studios! I am a private lesson instructor of violin and viola in Columbia SC. I teach all levels and would love for you to come flourish in my studio.
I have earned my Masters degree in String Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and my Undergraduate Degree in Music Performance from The University of Oregon.
My teaching method combines traditional aspects of string pedagogy including Suzuki, Paul Rolland, and Mimi Zweig. I strive to ensure tension free playing, foundational aspects, and enjoyment for music is present in my studio.
