We are seeking a motivated and experianced firefighters with Aircraft Firefighting experience to add to our team as a full time instructor. There is growth potential with this position, as the program is seeking to build upon the training and learning opportunities already offered. Someone who is passionate teaching and learning.
The position requires the ability to travel. A CDL Class A is a bonus, but we will provide the training to the right individual. Reciprocity is available for certifications, and experience is key to success. Additional training will be provided to the right person.

University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute is advertising for a Full Time ARFF Instructor. The Instructor for the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) program of the Fire and Rescue Training Institute is responsible for managing and coordinating the operational and on-site activities of the ARFF program. In addition, this position is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of adjunct faculty who work in the program, coordinating and facilitating all maintenance for the props and the vehicles used, and work to update existing and develop new curriculum for the program.

The University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute ARFF program is looking for part time Adjunct Instructors to assist with aircraft live fire training. The ARFF program has been in existence since 2001 and serve airports and fire departments nationwide.
ARFF experience and training is a must. The position requires extensive paid travel. Competitive pay.
Desired pre-employment qualifications include:
A clean driving record
A Class A driver’s license is a plus, but we will reimburse the costs to obtain one.
IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Instructor 1
IFSAC or Pro-Board Airport Firefighter or Evidence of Part 139 Qualification
Missouri NFPA 1403 Live Fire Instructor or equivalent
