👏 Congratulations to our GTHS students who successfully completed a 12-week training course hosted by the IBEW Inland Empire Electrical Training Center! ⚡

These 18 dedicated students met weekly after school to learn about the electrical trades and participate in hands-on training designed to prepare them for future careers in the industry.

By completing this program, each student has secured the opportunity to participate in an interview that could lead to an IBEW apprenticeship following high school graduation.

We are proud of their hard work, commitment, and determination as they take the next step toward bright futures in the skilled trades! 🔧💡

Congratulations to our CHS Culinary students on successfully completing the IEConnect Pre-Apprenticeship Program and receiving their certificates! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳👏
Pre-apprenticeship programs are designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a Registered Apprenticeship or other high-quality apprenticeship programs, and ultimately a career. These programs integrate directly into existing CTE curriculum and provide the instruction, preparation, and support needed to advance students into apprenticeship programs and career opportunities.
We are proud of our students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their future success! ✨

Today we celebrated our Design Build team with a well-deserved ice cream party 🍦👏
Students received their certificates, including our SkillsUSA winners who were recognized with certificates from the State Assembly. 🏆
We also had the honor of supporting a student as he takes the next step into the Carpenter’s Union apprenticeship, receiving a set of tools generously donated by DPR Construction. 🔨Proud of all their hard work and excited for what’s ahead. Moments like these remind us why we do this, celebrating growth, opportunity, and the future of our students. 💪✨

✨ Colton & Grand Terrace Students Unite for a Powerful Community Moment ✨
Today was something truly special! 💛
Students from Grand Terrace High School A.R.T.S. Pathway and Colton High School Welding Pathway came together to unveil a stunning steel sculpture created with years of dedication, creativity, and collaboration. 🙌
Commissioned by Arevon Energy for the Condor Battery Storage Facility, this meaningful piece now lives right in the heart of Grand Terrace on Taylor Street representing the spirit of the community for years to come.
Designed by GTHS students and brought to life with the incredible skills of Colton HS welding students, the sculpture beautifully captures local pride with elements like 🐝 honey bees, 🐴 wild burros, 🚂 the railroad, and 🎢 Cal Skate.
This project is more than just art, it’s a powerful example of what happens when students, teachers, and programs across our district come together with purpose. 💫
We are beyond proud of our students and grateful for the collaboration that made this vision a reality. This is Career Technical Education in action! 🔧🎨
