Taking action is at the heart of the IB Primary Years Programme, and our students continue to show what that truly means in inspiring ways. A fourth grade student recently took the initiative to organize a school-wide food drive, even partnering with our Jr. United Nations Club to help bring her vision to life.
Thanks to the collaboration and leadership of these Rockrimmon Mountain Lions, our community collected an incredible 275 pounds of food for Care and Share! We are so proud of our students for seeing a need, taking action, and making a meaningful difference. This is what student agency looks like in action.

Happy World Book Day!
Today we celebrate the joy of reading and the power of a good book. Whether it’s a favorite story, a new adventure, or a book shared with a friend, reading helps us learn, imagine, and grow.
Our students spent time exploring books, sharing stories, and building a love of reading that we hope lasts a lifetime.
Take some time today to read together at home—every page is a new adventure.
Pictures are throw back from dress like a story book character day and our Read Across America celebration.

Happy Earth Day!
Each year, we celebrate by taking action to care for our planet. Our students spent time cleaning up the creek behind the school, picking up trash in the field, and learning simple, meaningful ways to take care of the Earth every day.
We are proud of their hard work and commitment to keeping our community clean and healthy.
If your student enjoys outdoors, be sure to join our Garden Club next school year. It’s a great way to stay involved and help our school garden grow.

Our Rockrimmon flavor, was a big hit and enjoyed by all who tried it.

🎨 What an incredible night at our Rockrimmon Elementary Arts Festival! 🎶
Back in March, our school came alive with creativity, music, and joy as students showcased their amazing talents. From beautiful choir performances and drumming to engaging art stations, dance, and a glowing gallery walk, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy!
Students had a blast getting creative—making colorful masks and painting their own unique keychains to take home as keepsakes from the night.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success—our staff, performers, and supportive families. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We had an amazing visit this week from the U.S. Army Band as part of their Music in Schools program! 🎶 Our students had the opportunity to learn about different instruments, hear a variety of fun songs, and experience the joy of live music up close.
Thank you to the Army Band for inspiring our students and making music come alive in such a memorable way!
