Fawn season is nearly upon us and Mom stashes her babies in the dangdest places! In a day or so, they’re up on their legs and will leave with Mom. Their job until then is to lie quietly and still. Only a crying fawn needs your help. If you pick up and move the baby, he will likely die from improper care, euthanasia by wildlife officials, or later on in fall, when he is hormonal and confused and causing trouble in the neighborhood, at which time he’ll be euthanized by wildlife officials so if you really care, LEAVE HIM THERE!
