As we close out a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to say THANK YOU, CTMS teachers and staff for all of the amazing work you do!

It’s been a big week here at CTMS with so many end-of-year events. Congratulations to our Owls who are finishing strong!
Next week we look forward to “Unplugged,” our spring play, running for two nights only: Thursday and Friday, 5/14 + 5/15 at 7pm.

Still reading? Bad news: it's time to get your books turned in to our CTMS Library! Books are due NOW, so make sure to clean out those backpacks, look in your cars, and check around your house. Overdue slips will be sent home with students this week and fines will be added for unreturned books. But here's the good news: you can check out Sora for any and all of your sweet summer reading needs!

We have entered May and, with the exception of the current weather, summer dreaming is in the air!
We have a lot of end-of-year things in the week ahead, including Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, so make sure to thank our CTMS staff this week for all that they do by making extra good choices this week.

Happy Earth Day from CTMS!
A huge thanks to the students who came out to school early today to pick up trash from the grounds around our school. In other Earth Day news, we had Colorado Springs Utilities come out yesterday to present about water usage and sustainability processes to our 7th grade ELA classes. This connects to our current unit in ELA where students are developing solutions for environmental and sustainability issues for Generation Earthshot. We feel so glad that these opportunities exist for our students to see how their ideas can fit into the real world!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone - enjoy the rain/snow, then right back to spring! Today's pictures include a little throwback to early March when our ESL students took an amazing field trip to the Space Foundation. What an incredible place! And our office staff Purpled Up! on Wednesday, April 15th, National Day of the Military Child, to shine a light on the everyday courage of our military family students.
