Queenie was a blonde, and her age stood still,
And she danced twice a day in Vaudeville.
She had grey eyes, lips like coals aglow.
And her face was a tinted mask of snow.

Burrs is a handsome devil. A clown, of some renown, well-known all over town. He could make' em laugh, bend their ribs in half.

Kate was born in a ditch in West Virginia, ran away from home at ten. Crawled right out of that ditch, and holy cow, just take a look at her now!

Mr. Black has an air of poise without pose, that only a well-bred person shows.

Are you ready to laugh? Are you ready to smile? Are you ready to watch us sing and dance for a while? The Colorado College Music Department is proud to present “The Wild Party,” a story about love, betrayal, and a lot of booze!

It’s the 1920s, and Queenie and Burrs are the stars of vaudeville and fiery lovers. But after three years their passion cools off, and Queenie finds that there’s a darker side to her lover. To reignite the spark, she decides to throw the party of the century. But little does she know that she’ll soon meet the charming Mr. Black, a man who can love her with the kindness and care Burrs never offered. As the party rages on and Queenie’s feelings grow for Black, she faces a difficult and dangerous choice: Black or Burrs? Her decision ultimately means that her life, and the lives of all the partygoers, will never be the same.
