Revelation 21:4 gives us a needed glimpse into Glory that gives us hope and strength for today: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Life is filled with so many debilitating ailments; sorrow and sadness abound. This verse reminds me, 'this too shall pass;' it is all temporary -- the hurt, headche, heartache, sickness, sadness, conflict and evil will, someday soon, all be behind us. Let's try to keep our focus on Jesus and His Word as these Last Days wind down. The Enemy knows that he has "but a little time" so he is ramping up the attack and opposition. STAND STRONG! Bathe yourself in the promises of His Word today! Pray without ceasing and encourage one another constantly while we await the soon and coming King! May God bless you richly today, dearest saint!

Isreal's second and most influential king was David. He was a godly man and ruled 40 years before turning it over to Solomon, a man more known for his wisdom than godliness. He was at his best when he was closest in devotion to YHWH His God; he declined spiritually when he was lured away into the ways of his idolatrous harem.

A nation rises or falls to the extent it seeks the Living God and draws close to Him in obedience to His commands. A nation's downward plunge begins when civil and religious leadersip distances itself from the God who birthed the nation. Romans reminds us we have an obligation to pray for our civil and spiritual leaders, pastors and teachers.

Together, we can make a difference! Together we can insert godliness and light into every venue, every area of life, work and play! May we be known for our vigorous pursuit of personal holiness and love for God! Someday, we will rule and reign with Jesus; this life is our preparation for that ultimate leadership role! Seek the LORD, dear friends! In Jesus' Name! AMEN!
