Some of our favorite pictures from the eclipse! ๐ There are some amazing photos of the eclipse itself, and lots of people gathering with their families and friends to watch. Not only was the April 8th eclipse an awesome astronomical event, it also brought people together around the continent in a beautiful way. โค๏ธ

Is this cosmic cloud bejeweled? Because itโs making the whole place shimmer!! โจ
Scientists have recently found evidence of large scale planetary collisions from MILLIONS of years ago! A giant cloud of dust and gas has been observed near some far away exoplanets, and it appears to be glowing. Scientists believe this is the aftermath of exoplanets colliding during transit. This illustration by Mark A. Garlick depicts what the shining cloud might look like!
