We celebrated a few awesome kiddos at the Gold Crown Event. These students truly went above and beyond all year long! 👑✨

Students receiving the Gold Seal Certificate demonstrated outstanding PACK behavior throughout the school year by showing leadership, kindness, responsibility, respect, and consistently exceeding expectations both inside and outside the classroom.

We are so proud of these students for being shining examples of what it means to be part of the Weikel pack! 🐺💛

Even during summer vacation, a little learning each day can help students stay confident and ready for the next school year. Here are a few easy ways parents can keep learning going all summer long:

📖 Read together daily — even 15-20 minutes makes a difference
✏️ Practice writing with journals, postcards, or summer stories
🔢 Use math in everyday life like cooking, shopping, or road trips
🌎 Visit museums, parks, libraries, and community events
🎨 Encourage creativity through art, music, building, and imagination
🧩 Play educational games and puzzles as a family
💬 Keep kids talking, asking questions, and exploring new ideas

Most importantly — enjoy the time together and make wonderful memories! 💛

Congratulations to our incredible Weikel students for an outstanding performance at the District STEAM Competition! 🎉

We are proud to share that 3 of our Weikel teams earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Math Challenge portion of the competition — an amazing accomplishment that reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students.

After all Engineering Design Challenge and Math Challenge scores were combined, Weikel was awarded the Overall Elementary Champion Trophy! 🏆. All Weikel teams played a huge role contributing to our overall success.

This would not have been possible without the collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and perseverance demonstrated by every member of our teams. Students worked together to overcome challenges, think as if there is no box, and support one another every step of the way.

Thank you to all of our students and supporters who helped make this achievement possible. We are so proud of the way our wolfpack members represented Weikel with excellence, teamwork, and determination.

📢 Friendly Reminder for CYS Families!

All CYS facilities will be closed tomorrow May 22nd for staff professional development.

🎮✨ Level Up Day was a HUGE success! ✨🎮

Our students had an amazing time dressing up as their favorite characters and showing off their creativity and school spirit! From superheroes to video game icons, the campus was full of fun and excitement all day long. 🕹️🌟

Our SSN kiddos received an extra special surprise as we brought “Mario World" to them! 🍄⭐ They got to ride on a Mario-themed bus and arrived back to a fun Mario party waiting just for them. The smiles, laughter, and joy made the day truly unforgettable!

A very special THANK YOU to our Transportation Department for helping make dreams come true and creating such a magical experience for our students. ❤️💙
