Please join us for some summer reading fun! The attached flyers were sent home with your student on the last day of school.
For every book read by students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, and for every 20 minutes read by students in 3rd–5th grade, mark off a game piece on your board. Then join us at GMS on June 10th and July 8th to turn in your game boards for prizes and fun activities!
The Bookmobile will also be at GMS from 9:00–10:00 AM on both June 10th and July 8th. Students who attend will also have the chance to enter raffles and enjoy Otter Pops!

We are looking for a positive, student-centered Makerspace Educational Assistant (EA) to join our elementary school community! This unique position supports our K–5 Makerspace program and helps students engage in hands-on learning experiences that inspire creativity, collaboration, and problem solving.
What is Makerspace?
Our Makerspace is a STEAM-based specials class where students explore:
Computational thinking
Design and building
Problem solving
Creativity and innovation
Engineering and hands-on projects
Arts integration
Collaboration and critical thinking
Position Responsibilities
Work with a variety of K–5 classes throughout the school day, Organizing materials and maintaining a creative learning environment, Provide additional school support including duty coverage as assigned, Work throughout the regularly scheduled school year

Due to icy conditions around the region, WSD3 is on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, May 6. Buses will run two hours later than normally scheduled.

Enjoy carnival themed computer science activities and games. Earn tickets for prizes! Bring money for popcorn, cotton candy, and giant hippo golf!
All proceeds go to the GMS Computer Science Department.
