PMDD support doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive…

Some of the most powerful tools for regulating your hormones, nervous system, and mood are actually… free.

This can be things like:

✨ Starting your day with water

✨ Practicing breathwork techniques

✨ Playing music while doing tasks

PMDD isn’t healed by buying more things.

It’s supported by understanding your body and working with it consistently, compassionately, and in the right order.

You don’t need perfection, you need tools that meet you where you are.

If you want to hear more about different ways you can support your PMDD at home for free, learn more in my podcast episode: 13 Free Ways To Support PMDD Symptoms.

Weight loss can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. Striving for this goal was a fun exercise in practicing what I preach as a weight loss coach. Eat less. Eat mostly whole foods. Plan when you’ll eat. Love yourself through it all!! More to come on lessons learned through this process. šŸ™‚

The Magnificence of Man 01/14/2026

"When we truly know our divine nature, our thoughts and behavior will be more appropriate. Then we will control our appetites. We will focus our eyes on sights, our ears on sounds, and our minds on thoughts that are a credit to our physical creation as a temple of our Father in Heaven.

In daily prayer we may gratefully acknowledge God as our Creator, thank him for the magnificence of our physical temple, and then heed his counsel."

-Russel M. Nelson

The Magnificence of Man One of the most magnificent creations of God is the remarkably complex human body, which ought to be an object of appreciation and respect.

125 was my goal weight for December 31, 2025. I made the goal out of curiosity… can I be healthy at 125? I’ve steadily lost from 143 downward since last August. I love the way I’m losing weight… steady, naturally. I go up a little, down a little, and repeat with the downs happening more than the ups. Go get your goals!! I’m keeping my 125 goal. By February 14th, Valentine’s Day I will be 125 and seeing how I feel at that weight. šŸ’Ŗ

127.7 pounds. I am pleasantly surprised. I was nervous that I was in the 130s. My weight was 128.6 on Dec 18 when I last got the scale at my house before our travel. I am so grateful I made the effort to NOT OVEREAT when I would eat. I was very loose on my other routines. Enjoyed Christmas and many more sweets than usual. I didn’t keep to my eating windows. But focusing on not overeating seemed to keep me on track toward 125. Not sure I’ll get there in 3 days, but soon for sure. šŸ’Ŗ

It was a hard weekend. A sad weekend. We lost our dog. She’s been with us for almost 13 years. šŸ˜ž Even knowing that I was eating some out of grief/coping, my brain was telling me to panic. ā€œYour weight is going up!ā€ It said. I had to remind myself that I haven’t been sticking to my plan… I’ve eaten later than 7 pm. I enjoyed holiday treats at our Ward Christmas party, and I’ve eaten to comfort myself about our dog. But I also feel good, am stronger than I was a few months ago, and that I’m down 11 pounds from where I started. That. helped me not panic or go into self pity which could have led to binge eating.

12/12/2025

Yep, overdid the sweets. Ice cream. Twice. Cookies. Candies. And no self hate for it. It’s part of the process. I’ll do my plan better tomorrow.
