Prayer: Do NOT complicate IT. My Father is easy to TALK to. For me, it is a conversation because it is not me just speaking but also waiting for a response or reacting to a word from HIM. Scriptures state, “And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8: 26-27 NASB). “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find help in time of need” (Hebrews 4: 15-16 NASB). Glory! Go take an excellent picture for your wake and give it to the person who will oversee YOUR event. Write a LETTER giving them permission to have YOUR Home-Going at a place convenient for THEM. Secondly, free them from Raising Money for a funeral and state that you allow them to bury YOU in Potter’s Field or let your body be donated for YOUR organs and given for scientific research.
