Prairie Hills Elementary is officially on summer break! We wish all our students and families a safe, restful, and fun-filled summer.

Summer Office Hours
May 26–June 11: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm.
July 27 to August 14: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Save the Dates
Kindergarten Testing – Thursday, August 6th 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Families with incoming kindergarten students need to sign up for a 15-minute time slot. (You can find the sign-up in the link below).

Coyote Convention – Thursday, August 13th from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. Students will be getting their picture taken at the same time!

First Day of School – Monday, August 17th. Doors open at 8:00 am.

Planning to withdraw?
If your child does not plan on returning to PHE in the fall please visit our withdrawal page and fill out the withdrawal form. This helps us prepare for fall enrollment (You can find the withdrawal forms in the link below).

As we wrap up the school year, we want to take a moment to honor and thank the incredible staff members who are leaving PHE. Ms. Betsy, Mrs. Weatherman, Ms. Singleton, Ms. Ruth, Ms. Henning, Ms. Perez, and Mrs. Heywood have each made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and school community. Congratulations to our Team of the Year, the 5th Grade Team, our Classified Staff Member of the Year, Ms. Betsy, and our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Davis! Thank you for the dedication, teamwork, and care you show our students and school community every day. We are so proud to celebrate each of you and the positive impact you make at PHE!

On Thursday we celebrated our kindergarteners with a continuation ceremony! We are so proud of our smallest Coyotes and all they have accomplished this year. Their curiosity, growth, and ability to learn so many new things have been amazing to watch. Congratulations to our kindergarten students as they get ready for 1st grade! 🤩🎉💜

The last day of school we celebrated our amazing 5th graders at their continuation ceremony! We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at PHE and can’t wait to see all the great things they will do in middle school. Congratulations, 5th graders! Once a Coyote, always a Coyote!

Last week we celebrated our final Star Student Assembly of the school year! We are so proud of our students and the hard work, kindness, and dedication they have shown all year long. Congratulations to all of our Star Students for being great examples at PHE! 🎉💜

We had a BEARY special visitor on our last day of school!

Our PHE Field Day was filled with sunshine, smiles, and so much fun! Students enjoyed an exciting day of games, activities, and time together outdoors. A huge thank you to Mr. Carney and all of our amazing parent volunteers for your time and dedication in making great things happen for our PHE community! 🤸‍♀️⚽️☀️🤩

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA, Woodman Valley Chapel, parents, and community for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special! From the popcorn bar, taco bar, cookies, donuts, and adorable decorations to the many thoughtful surprises throughout the week, our staff felt truly loved and supported. We are so grateful for the kindness, generosity, and encouragement you show our teachers every day. Thank you for helping us celebrate our incredible staff in such meaningful ways! 💜
