What a fun day at the park yesterday! We met to learn about sun printing. The kids did an awesome job and we learned that unless stencils are completely blacked out they do not produce as strong of an image. Follow us for more ideas to do at home or in your group!

A big reason I started this: This is something that really hits home. This is why we went back to homeschool and really my kids are happy, and loving our homeschool group. It’s ok if you don’t understand, but this this right here is what I dealt with so much. Teachers were constantly saying oh she’s good! She’s not lashing out or being naughty, what they didn’t understand is the amount of brain and physical exhaustion that comes with holding it together for 7-8 hours. Our August mini sessions were amazing! In our last session Kids got to learn about Leonardo Da Vinci’s flying machine and parachute and then explore materials to create their own! It’s amazing what they each designed and came up with. Immersing kids in experiences is how they learn best. Kids also learned about how artifacts are excavated and got to practice on their own as well. We are so excited to see what these kids come up with all school year!

Homeschooling isn’t always easy, but the payoff is great…more time as a family, allowing your kids to be creative and adding it to their subjects, exploring deeper in subjects and topics they enjoy, creating an environment that is truly inclusive. Enjoy this time. It is short.
