Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 Collinsville CUSD 10 comprises 12 schools, serving 5,700+ students PreK-12 in Madison & St. Clair Counties in Southwestern Illinois.

Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 includes 8 elementary schools, an intermediate school, middle school, high school, vocational center and alternative school. Our school district, in an active partnership with parents and the community, is dedicated to promoting excellence in a caring environment in which all students learn and grow. This partnership empowers all students to develop

To keep our page focused, we have set some comment guidelines. The page is monitored by School District staff and all comments are reviewed by the School District. The District reserves the right to report any suspected violation of Facebook’s guidelines with the intent of Facebook taking appropriate and reasonable responsive action consistent with their own policies. To ensure exchanges are informative, respectful, civil, and lawful, we reserve the right to remove comments or user posted content that is:

Kahok Nation: We are sharing important information to remind everyone to be aware and cautions around school buses and children at bus stops.

Illinois law and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) require all drivers to STOP at least 20 feet away from a school bus with flashing red lights and an extended stop arm.

Stopping Rules by Road Type:
- Two-lane roadway: Vehicles traveling in both directions must stop.
- Multi-lane roadway (4 or more lanes): Only vehicles traveling behind the bus must stop; oncoming traffic may proceed with caution.
- Divided highway: Only vehicles behind the bus must stop.
